✂ ClickCut

Privacy Policy

Effective 17 September 2026

This policy explains what information ClickCut collects, why we use it, when it may be shared, and the choices available to customers, salon partners, and staff.

1. Information we collect

Account information

We may collect your name, email address, mobile number, account role, authentication records, and profile details when you register or sign in.

Booking and business information

For customers, this includes appointments, queue entries, favourite salons, reviews, and service preferences. For partners and staff, it may include business profiles, branches, services, schedules, staff records, galleries, subscriptions, bookings, and operational activity.

Location and device information

With permission, we use precise or approximate location to show nearby businesses and calculate distance. You may instead select a location manually. We may also process device type, app version, notification identifiers, IP address, logs, and diagnostic information.

Payments

Payment providers may process transaction and billing information. ClickCut receives limited transaction details such as status, amount, receipt, refund, or subscription identifiers and does not intentionally store complete card credentials.

Salon verification and direct payments

ClickCut is a technology platform that helps users discover and contact independently operated salons, spas, and professionals. Before booking, visiting, or making a payment, users should carefully review the business profile, address, contact details, services, prices, ratings, refund terms, and any available verification information, and should independently decide whether the business is genuine and suitable.

Payments made directly to a salon, spa, professional, bank account, UPI address, payment link, or other destination outside a ClickCut-controlled checkout are transactions between the user and that business. ClickCut does not receive, hold, control, reverse, guarantee, or provide refunds for those direct payments and is not responsible for resulting payment disputes, fraud, service quality, or non-delivery, except to the extent responsibility cannot be excluded under applicable law. Users should use a traceable payment method, verify the recipient before paying, retain the receipt, and contact the business or payment provider promptly if a problem occurs.

Reporting fraud or misconduct

If you experience or reasonably suspect fraud, attempted fraud, harassment, threatening or abusive behaviour, misrepresentation, unsafe conduct, or any other improper activity involving a salon, spa, customer, partner, or staff member, please inform ClickCut immediately at support@clickcut.in. Include the relevant booking or transaction reference and a factual description of what happened, together with appropriate supporting evidence where available. Do not send passwords, OTPs, complete card details, or other unnecessary sensitive information. For an immediate threat to personal safety or a suspected crime, contact the appropriate local emergency service or law-enforcement authority first.

2. How we use information

3. When information is shared

Booking details are shared between customers and the selected salon or spa as needed to deliver the service. We may use trusted providers for hosting, maps and geocoding, authentication, notifications, analytics, advertising, payments, and technical support. These providers may process information only for the relevant service and under applicable safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the platform, to investigate misuse, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate notice and protections. We do not sell personal information for money.

4. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to operate ClickCut, resolve disputes, maintain transaction and audit records, and comply with legal requirements. Retention periods vary by record type. We use access controls, encrypted transport, secure token storage, monitoring, and administrative safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

5. Your choices and rights

Some information may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, disputes, or law.

6. Children

ClickCut is not intended for children who cannot legally consent to digital services in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian should supervise any permitted use by a minor.

7. International processing and changes

Service providers may process information in other regions subject to applicable safeguards. We may update this policy as ClickCut changes. Material updates will be communicated in the app or on this page, and the effective date will be revised.

For privacy questions or rights requests, use 24x7 WhatsApp Support at +91 70845 34180 or contact support@clickcut.in. Please do not include passwords, OTPs, full card details, or other highly sensitive information.
